Honor 200 series makes a trip to Nepal before its Indian launch

Just a day before its Indian launch, the Honor 200 series has made its way to the neighboring country Nepal. Celltron, the authorized distributor of Honor products in Nepal, unveiled the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro in the country.

Price of Honor 200 series in Nepal

The price of Honor 200 series in Nepal starts at Rs 64,999 for the base variant of Honor 200 with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The 12+512GB variant of the phone costs Rs 67,999. Customers will get 1-year screen breakage insurance on every purchase. They can even opt to purchase the Honor Choice Watch at a discounted price of Rs 1,999.

Honor 200 Pro is available in a sole variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage which costs Rs 84,999 in Nepal. On every purchase of Honor 200 Pro, Celltron is giving away Honor Choice Watch, Choice Earbuds, screen breakage insurance and VIP card for free.

Honor 200 series overview

THe Honor 200 series debuted in China in May. They were then introduced to the global audience last month during an event held at the Hipódromo de París-Longchamp in Paris.

Honor 200 Pro

Honor 200 Pro is more premium of the two. It brings a 6.78-inch OLED screen with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The screen has a pill-shaped cutout to house the 50MP selfie camera and the accompanying depth sensor.

Honor 200 Pro is the first phone to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 in Nepal. The chip is paired with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The phone draws power from a 5200mAh battery that supports 100W SuperCharge fast charging.

Talking about photography, Honor 200 Pro brings a triple camera setup headlined by a 1/1.3-inch 50MP H9000 sensor with OIS. It is paired with a 50MP telephoto camera with Sony’s IMX856 and a 12MP ultrawide sensor which also doubles as a macro camera. The Pro also has a 3D depth sensor.

The vanilla Honor 200 is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. It brings a 6.7-inch curved OLED screen with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. On paper, it has a similar camera setup as the Pro model with a 50MP primary camera, 50MP telephoto lens and a 12MP ultrawide shooter.

However, the primary camera replaced the H9000 for Sony’s IMX906. Likewise, there is no 3D depth sensor. On the front, it has a 50MP selfie camera but no depth sensor.

It packs the same 5200mAh battery with 100W SuperCharge. Moroever, it runs on MagicOS 8.0, based on Android 14.
