CMF Buds Pro was one of the first products from the Nothing tech sub-brand when it launched 9 months ago, and it is finally available in Nepal. With the “Silence Meets Power” tag, the Buds Pro boasts 45db Active Noise Cancellation and 10mm bass drivers.
So, let’s discuss CMF Buds Pro in more detail, diving into its design, audio performance, noise canceling, battery, and pricing.
CMF Buds Pro overview
Design
CMF Buds Pro earpiece has a stem design that is typical of in-ear earbuds these days. That said, Orange shade helps them stand out from the competition. There are two more color choices if you want something more ordinary: Dark Grey and Light Grey.
The earbuds are fairly light, measuring just 4.8 grams, and come in a color-matching charging case. The carrying weight is 44.5 grams and has a round form factor with magnets to keep it shut.
CMF Buds Pro has IP54 dust and water resistance, applicable to the ear pieces. Thus, you can wear it outdoors and during workouts.
Audio performance
CMF Buds Pro brings a custom diaphragm made using Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) and Polyurethane (PU). The 10mm drivers are tuned using Ultra Bass Technology, which improves the low-frequency waves. The earpieces feature an exhaust vent at the back for improved airflow.
Active Noise Cancellation
CMF Buds Pro packs 3 microphones on each buds backed by noise cancellation algorithms. They are capable of filtering out frequencies up to 5000 Hz, offering up to 45db of ANC. The Wind Noise Reduction technology reduces interferences by wind.
For calls, the earbuds have Clear Voice Technology trained over 20 million sound samples that cancel out background noise to enhance voice during calls.
Battery and charging
With 55mm batteries in each bud, CMF Buds Pro promises up to 11 hours of music playback on a single charge. The number extends to 39 hours when the charging case is considered. Fast Charing supports means the Buds Pro gets 5 hours of combined listening session with 10 minutes of charging.
Companion app
CMF Buds Pro is compatible with Nothing X app, available on both iOS and Android. Within the app you can find option to change touch controls, switch between ANC, and personalize sound with the built-in equaliser. Moreover, there is also a Low Lag Mode for games.
